What areas do you serve?

We serve Windsor & Essex County including Windsor, Tecumseh, LaSalle, Amherstburg, Lakeshore, Essex, and Leamington.

Which services do you offer?

Interior painting, exterior painting, residential, commercial, industrial painting services.

How do estimates work?

Estimates are free and detailed. We’ll assess the space, discuss scope and products, then email a written quote with timelines and prep steps. Book at starkspainting.com/estimate.

Are you insured and safety-certified?

Yes—WSIB coverage, liability insurance, lift & working-at-heights certifications, and site-specific safety plans for commercial/industrial jobs.

What brands and finishes do you use?

We specify premium coatings (e.g., Benjamin Moore, Sherwin-Williams, Dulux) in washable mattes, eggshells, satins, enamels, industrial urethanes, and epoxies based on the substrate and traffic.

What’s your prep process?

Protect surfaces, clean/degloss, repair, fill, sand, vacuum, prime as needed, and apply 2+ uniform finish coats. Exteriors include scrape, sand, caulk, repair, prime, and spray/roll methods suited to the siding.

How long will my project take?

Most single-room interiors finish in 1–2 days; full homes vary by size. Exteriors and commercial/industrial projects include weather or access windows. Your estimate includes a realistic schedule.

What should we do before you arrive?

Please remove small décor and valuables; we’ll move/cover large items. For exteriors, trim landscaping where needed and keep driveways clear for equipment.

How do you control dust, odor, and cleanup?

We use low-VOC coatings, plastic and floor protection, dust extraction on sanding, and daily tidy-ups. Final day includes full sweep/vacuum and walkthrough.

Do you require a deposit? What payment methods?

A small 10% deposit may be required. We accept e-transfer, cheque, and cash. Balance is due upon completion.

When is the best time for exterior painting?

Typically spring through fall when surfaces are dry and above manufacturer temperature/ humidity thresholds. We schedule weather windows and monitor forecasts closely.
